A recent paper by Jordi Bascompte published in PNAS has shown how the eukaryotic cell emerged as a compromise between a conserved process of gene growth and a change in genetic regulation.

An article in Corriere della Sera highlighting the paper that Rodrigo and Jordi published on language extinction and the loss of medicinal services caught the attention of Italian visual artist Lucia Veronesi, who decided to translate that story in an artistic format based on a tapestry, collages, and a video, to be exhibited in Venice.
